This is a beautiful 2014 Land Rover Range Rover. This is my first opportunity to work on one of these vehicles from Land Rover corporation. When my client contacted me, he said he needed to have a light paint correction and detail. The paint was in pretty good shape for being a 2014 black Range Rover. It did however have some scuff marks and wash induced scratches. My client who works in the horse industry and travels all over the world told me to look it over and do the best I could with it.
I had always heard mixed reviews on anything coming from Land Rover. The thought was that the British manufacturers have to many “electrical gremlins “. That being said this particular 2014 Land Rover has not had any of those problems. Mechanically it has been loved and well taken care of.
Like I have mentioned earlier the paint on this 2014 Land Rover was not bad but it was starting to show signs of wear and tear. There was some minor scratching on the drivers side of this 2014 Land Rover. There was also some minor scratching on the hood. The interior is absolutely amazing. It has to be the softest leather that I have personally seen put into a SUV. Check out the interior pictures you will see what I mean.
Service Performed on this 2014 Land Rover
After assessing all of the problem areas in the paint. I decided to use Optimum Polymer Technologies Hyper Polishing system. This consisted of first washing the exterior. I then did a decontamination wash which will eliminate the rough surface of the paint. After the surface was prepped, I used Optimum Polymer Technologies Hyper Polish this eliminated all of the scratches and scuff marks.I then finished Optimum Polymer Technologies Glaze Polish and Seal. This gave it an amazing gloss.
