No two collector or specialty vehicles are exactly alike. Age, originality, paint history, materials, previous restoration work,
condition and how the vehicle will be used can all influence the appropriate approach.
That's why we don't begin with a preset package. We begin with the vehicle.
Start With the Vehicle — Not a Package
There isn't one preset service that makes sense for every collector or specialty vehicle.
Before recommending what should be done, we consider the vehicle's condition, originality, paint history, materials, previous restoration or repair work, how it is stored and how the client intends to use it.
From there, we develop an appropriate preservation plan.

Once we understand the vehicle and what the client wants to accomplish, we can develop a coordinated preservation plan using the appropriate Reflection Pro Services capabilities.
PRESERVE
Protect originality and irreplaceable materials where maintaining the integrity of the vehicle takes priority over cosmetic perfection.
RECONDITION
Responsibly improve areas affected by age, use or storage when doing so can be accomplished without unnecessarily compromising the vehicle.
PROTECT
Select an appropriate protection and long-term care strategy based on the vehicle, its finish, how it will be used and what the client wants to accomplish.
Because every collector and specialty vehicle is different, preservation projects are evaluated and priced individually. An in-person inspection may be required before final recommendations are made.
What Are We Trying to Preserve?

Preserve What Cannot Be Replaced
Original paint, trim, leather, brightwork and other period-correct materials may carry historical, emotional or monetary significance.
Sometimes improvement should intentionally stop before originality is compromised.
Condition
Improve What Can Safely Be Improved
Swirls, oxidation, contamination, staining and age-related deterioration can often be significantly improved.
But improvement must always be balanced against the condition and remaining integrity of the material.
Future
Protect What Comes Next
How the vehicle will be stored, driven, shown and maintained matters.
Protection and ongoing care should support the client's future plans for the vehicle—not simply how it looks today.

Does my vehicle have to be expensive or rare?
No. Significance isn't determined solely by market value. Age, originality, rarity, history, sentimental importance or long-term ownership can all make a preservation-first approach appropriate.
Can original paint be corrected?
Often, yes, but original paint deserves additional consideration. Paint type, thickness, condition, previous work and the significance of maintaining originality all influence how much correction is appropriate.
Will you try to remove every defect?
Not necessarily. Some defects should be improved rather than completely removed if eliminating them would unnecessarily compromise original or limited paint.
Do you work with older single-stage paint?
Yes. Older single-stage finishes can behave very differently from modern clear-coated paint and should be evaluated individually before determining the appropriate correction process.
Can ceramic coatings or REVIVIFY be used on collector vehicles?
In many cases, yes. We select protection based on the vehicle, its finish, how it will be used and what the client wants to accomplish—not simply which product has the longest warranty.
Will you need to inspect my vehicle?
For many collector and specialty projects, yes. An in-person inspection allows us to evaluate the finish, materials, condition and previous work before making recommendations.
