This paint correction package removes about 65% of the scratches and blemishes from the paint. These blemishes include wash-induced marring, holograms, and swirling in the paint. Polishing the paintwork brings out the depth of color and clarity.

Stage 2 Paint Correction

STARTING AT $600

TURNAROUND: 1 DAY

Our Stage 2 Paint Correction achieves about 85% paint clarity. Scratches at this point are getting pretty difficult to find. This package remedies etching from acid rain, bird droppings, micro-marring, or heavy scratches. Polishing the paintwork brings out the depth of color and clarity.

What Does Paint Correction Look Like At Reflection Pro Services?

Exterior Hand Wash

To begin, we will inspect all the areas of your exterior and then hand wash from the grill to the trunk, removing all loose contamination that might mask any surface defects that have plagued your finish for years. This is a key step in that we CANNOT determine exactly how to correct your paint when it is covered in visually distracting messes.

Clay-Bar Decontamination

Hand washing is not enough whatsoever. Our professional exterior vehicle detailers then take a special clay bar to your paintwork to completely remove every ounce of contamination, right down to the microscopic level! Once your paint is completely decontaminated, we again inspect your paint surface in its natural state. We then will perform a 50 point paint depth analysis inspection and generate a report that will give us guidelines on how much paint we have to work with during the polishing process.

Observation and Final Analysis

Much like the age-old adage “measure twice and cut once”, this is precisely how we at Reflection Pro Services handle the paint correction process. Once your paint is completely decontaminated, we again inspect your paints surface in its natural state. We then will perform a 50 point paint depth analysis inspection and generate a report that will give us guidelines on how much paint we have to work with during the polishing process.

Cutting, Buffing, and Polishing

Now comes the main event - the paint correction process! Based on our paint depth analysis, we will choose the correct polishing compound to remove the issues specific to your vehicles paint. Finally, we will buff and polish to enhance your paint's gloss and depth of color.

  • Will my vehicle need to be repainted during paint correction?

    Not at all! Paint correction can sometimes mislead some of those seeking to have their paintwork enhanced or remedied. Our cutting, buffing, and polishing services remove scratches, swirls, and more from your vehicle’s clear coat, as the original paintwork is often untouched and simply APPEARS to be defective thanks to these discrepancies.

  • Do you wash my vehicle AFTER the paint correction process?

    Hand washing and clay-bar decontamination happen PRIOR to paint correction. Following the buffing, poslishing, or jeweling stage of any of our paint correction packages here at Reflection Pro Services, your ride will look better than it did on the first day you owned it, and can then be protected with an Owner’s Pride Ceramic Coating thereafter.

  • What if I have a ceramic coating already installed on my vehicle?

    As mentioned earlier, ceramic coatings can definitely be negatively impacted by hazards that cause defects. Even if you have a ceramic coating that may have become defective, paint correction is how we remove it to have a new coating installed. The only type of paint protection product that must be removed before paint correction is a graphic wrap or paint protection film.

  • Is there any way to remove cracks and dents?

    The unfortunate reality behind eliminating surface dents, cracks in your finish, or body damage is that you have to take your vehicle to an auto body shop.
