2014 Chevy Corvette Convertible – Remarkable Car – Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This is a truly remarkable car in every sense of the word.



After talking with the owner, and walking around the car while doing a vehicle inspection, we discovered there were some problem areas on it prior to doing the detail. So we discussed multiple service options I could offer, then we decided to do a concours high-end detail.

What is a Concours High End detail? It is a very extensive show car detail. The word Concours comes from Concours dElegance Detailing competition in Pebble Beach California. These competitions are reserved for only elite and very rare cars. Examples would be 1965 Ferrari 365 Daytona, 1963 Aston Martin DB 5, 1968 Lamborghini MiruaP 400, 1962 Jaguar E-type, just to name a few. Doing a detail of this nature in all reality requires a large amount of time. Every section of this Corvette was scrubbed and polished from the rocker panels to the door jams and wheels. All road-tar from inside the wheel wells was removed the inside of the wheels themselves were scrubbed and polished. We then did a paint correction service on multiple sections of the paint with rear deck lid being the most extensive. Then I topped off the paint with Zymol Titanium wax.

We then turned our attention to the interior. One of the many things that are different on the Concours High End Detail, is the way the interior is treated and finished. I use Opti-Seal to shine all the glossy areas in the interior. This leaves the interior, dash, center console and door panels shiny but not oily. The leather is then cleaned and conditioned with hide food leather conditioner from London England. This can sometimes be a lot more involved and then just wiping on a conditioner and calling it a day.
